On the 15-16th November 18, the Defence Entrepreneurs Forum – Australia (#DefAus) held its 3rd Annual conference at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra. The forum aims to share ideas about the future, as well as provide a space for junior leaders to formally pitch ideas to senior leaders.

This year saw an excellent range of innovative ideas that have the potential to improve the way Army operates in the future. The winning pitch, by Jacob Choi, suggests that dependencies down to section level can be continuously resupplied by unmanned logistic vehicles that are capable of moving, hiding and caching independently throughout the battlespace, without exposing manned logistic nodes to enemy targeting.

This article, published by Grounded Curiosity, provides greater detail of the concept which could one day revolutionise logistics while saving lives.
