WONCO-A Video – ‘Conventional Navigation Part 1’

Over the course of two short videos Sergeants Ryan, Palmer and Herbert from the Northern Territory wing of WONCO-A explain the basics of conventional navigation.

In this first video they cover six figure grid references, measuring bearings and distances, and converting a bearing.

Complementary to these videos is the WONCO-A ‘Nav Data Sheet‘ video previously released on the Cove.

  1. This man has a very good knowledge of map work and a rather well groomed moustache. Great video and I am watching this space for part 2.
