LWD 6-0 is the Australian Army’s doctrine on signals. It can be found by clicking the image above, or at the following link.

The aim of this publication is to describe the nature and scope of signals in order to conduct operations effectively. It is written for use by the following personnel:

  • commanders and signals staff in all headquarters and units
  • members of signals units.

It is designed to shape the thinking of signals practitioners and non-signals personnel and provide an understanding of the relationship between signals and command and control, including command and control networks, counter-command and control, and command and control support functions.

    1. Thanks Alister. I’ve just had a look. Our #doctrine page is linked to the main Army page, and this is just in the final stages of migration to a new system. Once the migration is complete, the link should work again. Thanks for letting us know.
