Video – Wargaming PME Session: Setting up & Tips

War Gaming is an activity that many people in the Australian Army have very limited exposure to. Even those who have had limited experience during All Corps Captain’s Course (ACCC) or All Corps Majors Course (ACMC), may not ever have had some of the basic concepts explained to them before diving in to completing a War Game for the first time.

To accompany our other #BreakIn demonstration video on War Gaming, we offer this brief video which explains the basics on how to set up for the War Game. The video provides some basic guidance from an experienced tactician on why we take certain actions during the War Game, and how we can best prepare ourselves and the space we are using before conducting one.

Watch the video to refresh your memory and enhance your knowledge prior to conducting your next War Game and share with us any other tips you are aware of which may assist others in conducting this type of activity.
