In this short two part article via From the Green Notebook Retired Major General Tony Cucolo passes on the tribal wisdom that he gained through his long-service in the United States Army.

The premise of his article is: the expectations of a Major are very different from those of a Captain, and not everyone knows what those expectations are or the impact they have on personal and professional success. He shares these thoughts to help Majors be successful and to ensure that good officers are not lost because someone felt they were a ‘rough cut’.
